The myth that "Esperanto is a perfect language without flaws" is also common . Like any language, whether natural or constructed, Esperanto has its limitations and areas that are subject to discussion and critique. These include the aforementioned Eurocentricity of its vocabulary, the relatively long forms of some common words , and the existence of certain sound combinations that some learners may find challenging . The ongoing discussions and occasional proposals within the community for potential improvements or the adoption of alternative pronouns reflect a dynamic and living language, rather than a static and flawless entity . The pursuit of perfection in an auxiliary language is a continuous and often elusive ideal .
